EAST WENATCHEE — The first guide-dog training meeting in the Wenatchee area was a huge success. The event was hosted by Pups 4 Partners, the state’s newest club supporting Guide Dogs for the Blind. The meeting was held at the Kennel Club in East Wenatchee.

High Desert Guide Dog Puppy Raisers (HDGDPR) enjoyed a scavenger hunt in Walmart during its last meeting. The club divided into two groups, each with a list of items to find in Walmart. The humans were accompanied by Alamo, 7-month-old black Labrador retriever Guide Dog puppy in training and Lucerne, 9-year-old yellow Labrador retriever Career Changed Ambassador Dog.
