Bobbing for hot dogs, musical mats and a doggie fashion show were just a few of the activities dogs and their owners could enjoy at the first anniversary celebration of the Perkasie Dog Park. Held April 29, more than 100 dog lovers and about 20 vendors came out to show their support for the growing success of the dog park.

Nearly 100 dog lovers are better equipped to train their pets thanks to a workshop at the Copper Country Humane Society. Humane Society Board Member LeRita Allert was thrilled with the turn–out and hopes the lessons learned will benefit both the owners and their dogs.
